Breeding only from AKC registered, extensively health tested adults - with CHIC certifications on OFA. Litters have low COIs. All puppies come to you with microchip in place, tails docked, dewclaws removed and will have had early Bio Sensor Neurological Stimulation following Dr. Carmen Battaaglia's guidelines, raised in the home using Puppy Culture Socialization protocols and participation in the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Testing, which is shared with puppy buyers.

My passion, as a Preservationist Hobby Breeder, is to breed healthy, happy, beautiful and well socialized puppies. Callasterns Standard Poodles breeds AKC recognized solid color standard poodles; black, white, the occasional blue and looking to add brown. Both pet and show quality puppies are available. Champion bloodlines on both sides. All puppies are sold on spay/neuter contracts unless specific arrangements are made in the case of show quality or AKC performance prospects or those wishing to breed.  This is my passion - not my profession.  
 
Health Screening: I follow OFA guidelines for mandatory health testing as well as additional testing for CHIC status as well as  participating in VGL (Better Bred) testing with publicly published results. 

CH Callasterns Blackjacks Dazzling Legacy (Deezel) is now available for Stud. He has completed his health testing with flying colors including the elusive “Excellent” on hips and CHIC status.  He is color tested as Dominant Black with Recessive Agouti.  Deezel has had his semen tested for fertility with fabulous results. He is available via fresh chilled and frozen.  Deezel’s DNA is on file with AKC.  I do not condone and will not ever participate in any “Doodle”, or merle breeding requests. Stud Contract is located and can be viewed on my website.
 
My next litter will not be until Spring 2020. Abby is black and tested black with recessive brown.  She will be bred in late spring to a stud dog carrying brown as well.  I am hoping for both colors, black and brown.
