When I first started breeding dogs I had Old English Sheepdogs and was showing at AKC shows around the midwest. In 10 years I had several champions. While going to those shows I was fascinated by Standard Poodles and thought some day that was the direction I would go. Much later a good friend gave me a Miniature Poodle out of his 30 year old breeding kennel. I started showing that girl and was really hooked on Miniatures. In my first breeding I was able to produce a beautiful AKC /UKC CH male. The next year I repeated that breeding and two puppies were produced and both are AKC / UKC CHs. I am testing my dogs for everything. If I am going to breed Poodles I want to breed the healthiest animals as well as the prettiest. Strong healthy poodles are very important to me.
