Now Accepting Applications for Our Upcoming Black Miniature Poodle Litter – Due June 2025

At Danube Poodles, we are a small, purpose-driven breeding program—not a kennel. Our poodles are cherished members of our household, raised underfoot with constant care, enrichment, and affection. We breed selectively for conformation, agility, obedience, and—above all—for intelligent, athletic, and emotionally sound companions who thrive as integral members of their families.

We pour immeasurable care into each litter. Puppies are raised in our home with focused attention to early socialization and emotional development, ensuring stable temperaments and confident beginnings. Our program emphasizes longevity, sound structure, and a joyful spirit—the essence of the breed.

All health testing is completed prior to any breeding. While certifications do not guarantee a life free of health issues, they do offer important peace of mind by demonstrating a proactive, health-first approach. Our testing includes: eyes (Optigen and CERF), patellas, and hips.

This upcoming litter—expected in June 2025—is a special one. We are now accepting applications specifically for black miniature poodle puppies. As always, our priority is not simply to place puppies, but to find extraordinary homes where our poodles will thrive.

Please note: We do not offer transportation or shipping of any kind. Families must be able to personally travel to Rock Island, Tennessee to pick up their puppy in person. This policy ensures a safe, low-stress transition for the puppy and allows us to meet and connect directly with each new owner.

I work closely with my family in Europe, who are also active in the show and breeding world. This international collaboration allows us to bring in valuable genetic diversity and strengthen our breeding lines. We are not a commercial operation and do not breed for profit—each litter is part of a passionate, long-term pursuit to preserve and improve the breed, with the goal of producing our next generation of show-quality poodles.

Above all, we breed with unwavering dedication to health, sound temperaments, and the long-term betterment of the breed. Every decision we make—from selection of breeding pairs to the environment in which our puppies are raised—reflects this commitment.

If you’re looking for a deeply loyal, intelligent, and joyful companion to share your life with—and are committed to the lifelong responsibility of canine guardianship—I welcome you to reach out. I’ll gladly answer your questions, address concerns, and offer support not just during the adoption process, but throughout your poodle’s lifetime. Prospective families are carefully screened to ensure the best possible match for both puppy and home.

If that sounds like a journey you’re ready to begin, I invite you to connect.

Warmly,
