Health Screening: Yes
I use the following Health Screening procedures: I do OFA and/or Penn Hip for Hips, CERF Eyes, skin punch biopy for SA, DNA test from Vetgen for vWD, and bloodtest for Thyroid, Kidney, and Liver funtion yearly, and do bloodwork to rule out Addison Disease. I believe health testing should be used as a tool to further a breeding program, but that research should also be used to understand what lines should and should not be combined.

Breeder of High Quality Working Poodles. Specializing in Silvers and Blues with the occasional White and Black tossed in for good measure. We only produce 1-2 litters a year and breed with specific goals of producing dogs with good retrieving instinct and a willingness to work. We show our dogs primarily in Obedience and Agility, but we do some Conformation to keep from becoming blind to our dogs faults. Finding a nice mix between 'willing to work' and 'calm and sweet to live with' is our goal. Health and Temperament is our top priority.
