When we start feeding our puppies at 4 weeks, we keep them on newspaper to keep them cleaner and dryer. At 5 weeks, as you can see above, the newspaper is a much smaller square. Also their bed is smaller which keeps them cleaner and encourages early clean habits as your puppy matures. At 6 weeks they start to go outside for housebreaking
